Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made or homemade pie crust
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/4 cups evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Trim and crimp the edges as desired.
  • In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  • Beat the eggs in a separate bowl and add them to the pumpkin mixture.
  • Stir in the evaporated milk and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  • Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  • Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 40-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the pie to cool completely before serving.
