Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup crushed Biscoff cookies
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder. This ensures an even distribution of flavors and keeps your waffles fluffy.
  • In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla, and melted butter. Stir until smooth, then pour the wet into the dry. Mix just until combined—lumps are okay!
  • Fold in crushed Biscoff cookies gently. Overmixing can make the waffles tough, so a quick stir will do. Meanwhile, heat your waffle iron.
  • Pour batter into the preheated waffle maker and cook until golden and crisp. Every waffle iron varies a bit, but around 4-5 minutes usually does the trick. Peek if needed!
  • Once cooked, place waffles on a plate, drizzle generously with warm Nutella, and layer on sliced strawberries. Want a little extra flair? Add a dollop of whipped cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
